Supporting The Peak News Educational Foundation
from the “Taste of The Peak” Event
Let’s follow-up with each other…
“Taste of The Peak” was a Fun-Fundraiser, a great Networking event, and an opportunity to envision what it will be like for We the People to take back the Media and restore trust in it once again. (watch all of the event videos below)
This moment in our nation’s grand history is too precious for us to let it slip by, and the place where the majority of us can make a significant impact is working together on the hyper-local level in Media, Education, Business, Government, and more.
As we’ve all learned, events can be very fun and yet not personally or professionally beneficial if there is no follow-up.
You can probably tell that we at The Peak News, Events, and Educational Foundation are extremely intentional in our respective missions.
As you invested your time and money to attend “Taste of The Peak”, we want to facilitate the maximum positive impact of the event for both our organizations and for YOU and the entire Pikes Peak community.
To accomplish this goal, we created this Event Follow-Up webpage! Here are many awesome ways to get involved with The Peak, including links for each one.
Please support our Educational Foundation financially (this was primarily a Fundraiser, after all), and engage in at least one other way, if not all five…
1. Support The Peak Financially: “Taste of The Peak” was primarily a fun-fundraiser, and so if you haven’t already, please support our 501c3 non-profit Educational Foundation as a recurring Monthly Donor. $100, $50, or even $20/month from many will go a long way to helping us accomplish our mission to train up a new generation of ethical journalists and providing them a platform to report local stories.
2. Engage Your Time and Talents: Engage with The Peak News as a Citizen Journalist, Intern, Sponsor, or even as a Guest (links below). We are a 100% “We the People” news organization, and our motto is “we say the quiet stuff out loud!” With your help, we’ll say it even louder together and bring crucial Media transparency and accountability to our region, and beyond. Become a certified Peak “Citizen Journalist” by attending our upcoming 4-week training course that begins on March 3rd (course application form below).
3. Patronize Our Official Partners: Do business with others who support The Peak. Below are different tabs with the names and hotlinks to our Event Speakers, Partners, Vendors, Auction Contributors, as well as those who are Sponsor Advertisers on The Peak News daily broadcast.
4. Join The Peak Nation: Be a regular listener/viewer of The Peak News by tuning in to our broadcast at 3pm MT Monday – Thursday on AM 1460/FM 101.1 in the Pikes Peak region, livestream our audio at the KZNT website or on app from Google Play, or watching our Facebook Live at: www.Facebook.com/ThePeakNewsMedia All of our broadcasts are also available for listening or download at our Podcast page: www.ThePeak.news/Podcasts or from your favorite Podcast Network as The Peak News. You can also subscribe to “The Peak Nation” fan list HERE.
5. Become a Peak News Sponsor Advertiser: Promote your business or organization as a Peak Partner advertiser/sponsor of The Peak News radio program and broadcast. Not only do you get your message in front of the best audience in town AND provide real journalism to our region, but you also help provide the platform for our Internship program to help local youth get their break in professional media. That’s what we call “Win-Win”! For all the info about partnering with The Peak News as a Sponsor-Advertiser, go to: www.ThePeak.news/Partnerships
And one last thing…Event Photos: If you have any photos or videos from the “Taste of The Peak” event, please share them with us by uploading to: https://albums.memento.com/TasteOfThePeak2025
If you would like to re-live “Taste of The Peak”, watch our event videos below.

Rachel Stovall and Vendor Takeover: Thank you for overcoming all the challenges and making sure we had more than enough Vendors and Auction items, which meant plenty of food and fun for everyone who attended, and funds for the Foundation! That’s what we call “Win-Win”!
Brook Forrest: Thank you for stepping into the gap, and never wavering in your belief that the Almighty was going to reward our efforts with a blessed event!
Chris Gould and Salem Media/KZNT: Thank you for being our Media Partner (and the last one for Q), and we look forward to working together on many more great community events! And thank you for speaking, Chris!
